Etude House – Tint My Brows Gel

Here I am again with another Fab or Fad post. These are quickly becoming my favourite posts to write! Today it’s the Etude House (nope, I’ve never heard of them either!) Tint My Brows Gel. I found this little gem on eBay. It’s a Korean brand. This product claims to tint your brows, thus saving you time faffing with eyebrow kits/pencils.

When I opened the wand I was slightly terrified. What greeted me was a gloopy mess on something which resembled a paintbrush. Thankfully, I have the world’s largest eyebrows, so I wouldn’t need to be intricate with my application.

I started applying  the product at around 11pm last night. It says in the instructions that you can apply and leave on for 2 hours or overnight for a ‘stronger colouration(!)’. Why be subtle? I decided to go for the more dramatic approach.

Please ignore the lack of makeup, rosy cheeks and dressing gown in the forthcoming photos, I quite frankly don’t give a poo at that time of night! This is the product applied to one eyebrow.

Here I am pulling my best face of concentration, but looking like I don’t have a clue at the same time.

Fully applied and looking like the angry baby from The Simpsons!

The product stayed on very well over night. When Baby J woke up, she stared at my eyebrows in wonder and actually reached out to pull them off my face. This was a new low.

Do you like my tinsel headband?

I began to peel the product off. It removed quite easily and was actually quite fun. It reminded me of painting my hand with PVA glue in primary school and then peeling it off. So satisfying. Just me?

For once, I was actually quite pleased with the outcome! The product has definitely worked. If my eyebrows were a beautiful, non-hairy caterpillar shape, then this product would be very effective and save a lot of time in the morning.

Final verdict – FAB!

I’ll definitely be using this one again!

Hey! So you’re dabbling with k beauty eh? I’ve been using a lot of Korean skincare for a bit over a year now. I love the mix of cheap, scientifically effective, and utterly weird!

Anyway, just thought I’d recommend the Jolse website (they also have an eBay shop). They have tony moly eyeliner that looks like a little ink quill! ^_^
